Politicians telling lies to the people is bad enough… but when they put lies in the mouth of God? That’s a whole other level of betrayal.
Better to have an atheist spout open contempt for what Christians believe than to have a false teacher pervert God’s word while claiming to speak in His name.
One of the reasons Talirico had the game rigged in his favor (at the expense of Jasmine Crockett) by the Dem political machine was their belief they could prop him up to broadly appeal to normal Texans when others before him have failed. They hoped his recent foray into seminary would be the silver bullet to get penetration and credibility in the Bible Belt, despite running with a party that is actually hostile to all Ten of the Ten Commandments. (A piece I wrote 14 years ago when ClashDaily was still a new site trying to find its feet.)
It’s the same game plan they ran in Virginia, among other places. Pretend to be one candidate while you’re running, and don’t show your true face until you get sworn in. It’s sad to say that ‘moderate’ Democrats are now more ore less an artifact of history.

His little speech is almost perfectly identical on different days. If you were looking for a clue that his ‘authenticity’ is entirely scripted, there you go. But his attempts at theology is far worse than his authenticity. Not just his God-and-gender pontification, but his attempt to make the left’s radically pro-abortion views out to be orthodox Christian views drawn from scripture itself. When Talirico tried to use Gabriel’s annunciation of the birth of Jesus to Mary as evidence in support of abortion (among some equally offensive reasons), he got pushback from sensible Christians who can tell you exactly why he’s a bubble off level.
Franklin Graham was one of them.
Don’t be deceived by wicked politicians spouting lies like this…
It does not sound as if Franklin Graham will be considering an endorsement of Talarico any time soon.
