The guy whose Healthcare promise was named Politifact’s ‘Lie Of The Year’ is back, with new health care promises.
But surely THIS time, the problem will be solved. Right?
Obama is inserting himself into the midterms, trying to drag open socialists across the finish line. (No surprise there.)
The greater surprise is that he has the chutzpah to look voters in the eye and run on making health care affordable, when his own name is synonymous with the packed that wrecked the system we already had.
Barack Obama: “We’ve got to make sure that nobody has to worry about high healthcare premiums.” https://t.co/6mHra6Lupg

Before Trump’s second term, Americans were getting hosed on per-unit drug prices. NIH numbers show Americans paying 3x what other countries would pay for brand name drugs, 10x the insulin prices of some European countries. Trump was actively negotiating for lower per-unit costs of medications for US citizens, bringing real savings to medicare costs.
In his first term, it was only that infamous ‘thumbs-down’ by McCain that blocked Republican attempts to undo the damage done by Obmamacare.
Even Democrats admit Obamacare failed to deliver on its promises. Health care premiums went UP, not down. They doubled, in fact, while insurance companies have been making money hand over fist under his new changes. The keep your doctor (or your plan) was a lie. Obama is so damned unaffordable that Schumer shut down government because the money they were bleeding from the taxpayer to fund Obamacare without them seeing the price they were paying was about to expire. They offered a 1-year extension to avoid shutdown. That’s weird. Obama promised that health care would be cheaper than your phone or cable bill.
Judging by the dirty tricks socialists like to play probably a deliberate lie meant to Cloward-Piven (collapse) the health care system that did exist to force the government’s hand to deliver the DMV-ifying of Government Health care more broadly. We can ask the veterans all about what a wonderful job Big Government does when we hand over health care decisions to an army of government middlemen. To reprise a political chant of the era, Obama lied, veterans died.
Now they are trying to replace Obamacare with Medicare For All (in which Bernie has explicitly pledged that even Union-negotiated health care plans would be made illegal with the stroke of a pen).
But THIS time, they’ll lower your cost of living.
What else are they promising?
Data Centers?
Notice how Dems have been running on fear-mongering about data centers — specifically questions of electrical consumption and water? As if Data centers were only used for AI, and weren’t also used for TikTok, YouTube influencers, and feeding (very lucrative) pornography addictions.
Why aren’t Republicans calling them out on THIS CBSNews story? We’ll let the headline speak for itself:
Senate Democrats block House-passed data center bill aimed at addressing energy costs
They wanted the issue so they could use it as a cudgel, not because they cared about how locals would be impacted. (Besides. New models recycle the same water again and again. You notice how they don’t seem nearly as agitated about the water consumption or environmental impacts of, say, the marijuana industry. Or the energy/environmental impacts of Twitch Streamers and online porn consumption. Isn’t that a weird oversight.)
Diesel Prices?
They’re promising to lower your cost of diesel. While they threaten and shut down the oil and gas sector at every turn. Drilling, refinery, the XL pipeline, even importing diesel from abroad to backfill shortfalls has them outraged.
Inflation? They ran an ‘anti-inflation’ bill that was more interested in racking up the debt with unaccountable slush funds exploited by fraudsters and Trojan Horsing aspects of the Green New Deal that no Senators admitting to supporting when they had a chance to vote for it under its own name. We’re still paying elevated costs for Biden’s 9% inflation, but Trump’s taking the blame from Democrats for the higher prices despite inflation being driven down to about a third of what it was in the Biden years.
What about housing? Sending people home is taking pressure off of the housing costs.
Economic numbers? Per the Department of Commerce, yesterday (emphasis added):
GDP (Advance Estimate), 3rd Quarter 2026

And none of this even touches the massive impact of the GOP’s vision of re-shoring industry and opening up opportunities for innovation.
Dems are on record promising higher taxes, comparing the oil and gas industry to cassette tapes, and drowing the economy in so much debt that even their beloved illegal fraudsters won’t have any money left to skim off the top, let alone anyone depending on Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid.
It’s not enough to acknowledge the economic pressures American consumers are now feeling. They have to have a trustworthy plan to fix them.
Obama can talk all he wants bout the OTHER guys and their ‘okedoke’. But even his political allies lit him up for telling the biggest lie of the year, on the exact thing he’s now touring around with a smile and a ‘trust me bro’.
News flash, Obama.
We know who you are.
That’s why we have no reason to trust you.
