And now, for some good news: after the left pushed too far, too fast, the right is starting to gain ground again.
Sometimes conservatives feel like they are screaming into a hurricane, and wonder if anything is making a difference. Well, here’s a reminder that fighting back — and doing so intelligently — matters.
It makes a real difference and stacks up real wins. Here is a sampling of just a few of the wins the right has seen lately.
Win #1
Gov DeSantis took a lot of grief in the primaries while he was getting logrolled by Trump. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t doing a fantastic job in his role as Florida’s governor.
His legislative wins are already starting to bear fruit.
The University of Florida has eliminated all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) positions at the university, according to an administrative memo that was released Friday.
The memo cites a recent state ban on the use of public funds for diversity, equity and inclusion programs, activities and policies — as well as activities for “political or social activism” — in the public college system. The Florida Board of Governors passed this restriction in January, shortly after the Florida Board of Education passed a similar ban.

Win #2
Red states have adjusted policy saying they would do no business with companies whose stated agenda boycotts their important industries, or whose politics explicitly undermine Constitutional rights (for example, the Second Amendment).
That pushback has had a chilling effect on the otherwise-unchecked power of hedge funds that leveraged their tens of trillions of dollars in assets under management to push hard-left political agenda.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink’s efforts to embrace “woke” environmental, social and governance policies, commonly known as ESG, could “materially adversely” slam the investment titan’s core business, the investment giant admitted in a regulatory filing.
“Risk factors” for BlackRock’s stock price include the fact that “BlackRock’s business, scale and investments subject it to significant media coverage and increasing attention from a broad range of stakeholders,” the firm disclosed in its annual 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
“Matters subject to scrutiny, such as ESG, may be viewed differently by various stakeholders and adversely impact BlackRock’s reputation and business, including through redemptions or terminations by clients, and legal and governmental action and scrutiny,” said the filing, which was submitted Feb. 23. — NYPost
It’s hardly a ‘come to Jesus’ moment, to be sure. He’s still going to press an agenda. But he can’t be quite as aggressive about it as he has been, or use the same language. But the fact remains, he was forced to make this mia culpa in his official filings.
This otherwise-hidden investment risk factor is one investors may begin waking up to as a result.
And less money under his management translates into fewer voting shares with which to bully the markets.
El Salvador has officially removed all gender ideology content from its public school curriculum, a move confirmed by Education Minister José Mauricio Pineda, signaling a significant shift in the nation’s educational policy. The announcement, aligning with President Nayib Bukele’s conservative stance, has ignited a fervent discussion regarding the implications for gender education and rights within the country.
Following the claims by a local group, ‘Salvadoras against gender ideology,’ regarding the presence of gender ideology in school content, the Salvadoran Education Ministry quickly responded, clarifying their position. Minister Pineda’s announcement underscored the government’s commitment to purge educational materials of any gender ideology content. This policy direction, according to Pineda, aims to focus on imparting traditional knowledge and values, including morals, civics, and general education, free from what they term ‘unnatural ideologies.’ President Bukele echoed these sentiments at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), advocating for education that upholds ‘God, family, and traditional subjects’ over modern ideological teachings. — BNN
With Biden’s rabid support of all things rainbow, we should fully expect El Salvadore to become the next evil entity against which he is aligned.
