Imagine you’re a Congressman, gun to your head, the money has to be spent, and the Ukraine issue is somehow off the table… what do YOU do with the $165 Billion we sent them?
Thought exercises like this one are helpful because once we’re talking numbers into the millions and billions, our eyes glaze over and we lose context.
Comparative use of that money for other government spending priorities helps bring put that pricing back in context.
If Ukraine wasn’t at war, and we were going to spend ourselves into oblivion anyway… what OTHER things could that much dough buy us?
What could it do about border security, for example?
What about homeless veterans?
Or the water issue in Flint Michigan?
Remember the seven hundred bucks we gave to the people of Maui…? What could that lump sum do for rebuilding Maui?
Someone looked into those questions and came back with some answers. The video was posted by RedPillUSA You’re gonna need some money for the swear jar for this one.
This really puts things into perspective:
"With the 165 Billion we gave to Ukraine, we could have built six border walls to stop illegal immigrants from pouring across our southern border.
Could have fixed Flint's water system 215 times over easily.
I like this one. Could… pic.twitter.com/yVa8WTOSKI

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
