The only audience Jimmy can get laughing now, are the ones laughing at his demise.
Like so many others on the activist Left, they’re not much good at building a new idea from scratch. Networks saw the enormous success of Carson and Leno, and either copied the formula, or tried to keep the existing show going with talent that never quite managed to keep itself elevated above political partisanship.
The old guard of late-night must be seething that Gutfeld has been eating their lunches. He’s crushing their ratings without anywhere NEAR the network penetration to homes that networks take for granted. We’re seeing that even Colbert and Kimmel can’t bleed red ink and weak ratings forever without eventually paying a price.
Colbert is gone already.
And now the crying Woke Pope himself is steps into the batters’ box as the next guy with his job on the chopping block.
Our the Troller-in-Chief will get a chance to unleash his trademark catchphrase on the guy who burned down any pretence of ‘comedy’ in favor of pushing whichever agenda Schumer/Pelosi/Fauci and the rest of the left had decided to back on a given day. After years of self-righteous sanctimony from the Kimmel camp, you just KNOW he’s going to enjoy that last laugh.
Jimmy Kimmel Live is set to come to an end in 2027, according to sources who spoke to Page Six on Tuesday.
The news comes a year after the 58-year-old comedian was famously suspended, as an insider told the publication: ‘His contract is not getting extended.’ —DailyMail
Remember the time Jimmy cried in a monologue because he ‘cared so deeply’ about politics?
Right. As if we’re supposed to forget he’s the same clown that used to do blackface comedy and, well, whatever this is:
Never forget that Jimmy Kimmel has always denigrated women, but he hates President Trump so ABC looks the other way! pic.twitter.com/cIQ4MT9BSV

Clearly a guy with the moral high ground from which to lecture the rest of us.
I can’t possibly imagine why people might have stopped watching his show.
