It’s a music video. No, a meme. Nope, a political message. This is 2026. It can be all of these things, and a pretty solid banger, too!
After almost 2 years in to Trump’s second stint in office, it’s easy to get so caught up in the day-to-day grind, or the election cycle banter that we lose sight of just how much change has happened since he came here.
“Promises is are easy. We came here for more.”
I’m reminded of a time when I was a kid out on the lake in our canoe paddling for what seemed like forever, never seeming to get any closer to the island I was trying to visit and it was only when I looked back over my shoulder that I saw just how far I had already come.
This song is a little like taking that glance back over your shoulder and resetting your perspective.
Better yet, it’s also a LOT of fun. Enjoy!
